Sandoval Legacy Group's Paralegals and Administrative Staff
Megan Boling, Paralegal | Sandoval Legacy Group, a division of Holstrom, Block & Parke, APLC

Paralegal

Megan Boling

Megan is our office manager and paralegal. Dennis first met Megan Boling when she sought his assistance with getting her father-in-law on Medi-Cal and SSI after he had suffered a massive stroke. Dennis was so impressed with her organization skills and how she fought to get the highest level of care for her father-in-law, that he offered her a job as his first paralegal. She later became the office manager.

Megan has many skills that make her a great paralegal, but probably her greatest attributes are her contagious upbeat attitude and diligence in caring for clients. She is also a key player in the implementation of procedures within the office to automate processes and minimize mistakes.

Megan received her degree in paralegal studies from Riverside Community College in 2009. She has completed several courses in government assistance programs for the elderly and the disabled. She has firsthand knowledge of the In Home Supportive Services program due to her involvement with the care of her father-in-law at her residence. Megan also assists our clients with probate proceedings before the Riverside County Superior Court and the San Bernardino County Superior Court. She prepares all the Medi-Cal applications for our Long Term Care clients.

She lives with her two sons and several pets and enjoys cooking, camping, hiking, and gardening.

Paralegal

Venessa Damon

Venessa is our paralegal and government assistance specialist. Like Megan, she has attended numerous courses on Medi-Cal for nursing homes and Veterans Aid and Attendance Pension Benefits. Venessa handled all our applications with the Veterans Administration for our Elder Law clients. She is one of the most knowledgeable persons dealing with the intricacies of processing Aid and Attendance / Enhanced Pension applications for our veterans in the Riverside area. Venessa assists Dennis, Pamela and David with preparing our client’s estate planning documents. She also assists with the probate and conservatorship matters in the Riverside County Probate Court and the San Bernardino County Probate Court.

Venessa became friends with Megan while they were both taking courses in the paralegal studies program at Riverside Community College. When Dennis was looking to add another paralegal to the law firm staff, Megan did not hesitate to recommend Venessa. The rest is history.

Venessa is also known for her diligence and follow through. She has been instrumental in developing many of the law firm’s procedures, which are crucial in reducing costly mistakes that can cost clients time and money.
Venessa has completed her classes for the paralegal studies degree program from Riverside Community College and is the process of completing two non-legal classes to receive her paralegal studies degree. She is licensed as a Notary Public.

She lives in Riverside with her husband, Corey, daughter Lily, and dogs Dallas and Ginger. She occupies her time outside of work with reading, swimming, going to the beach, horseback riding, baking and camping.

Tekisha Rooks Carbajal, Paralegal | Sandoval Legacy Group, a division of Holstrom, Block & Parke, APLC

Paralegal

Tekisha Rooks Carbajal

Tekisha Rooks Carbajal, also known as Kisha, joined the Sandoval Legacy Group Team in 2011. When it came time to hire another paralegal, Dennis relied on the recommendations of his current staff. Venessa recommended Tekisha, who she had previously worked with.

Since joining the firm a decade ago, Kisha has taken primary responsibility for our conservatorships and trust administration cases. When needed, Kisha also assists with our probate cases in the Riverside and San Bernardino Probate Courts.

Her colleagues and clients often praise Kisha for her unmatched ability to ease her clients by providing peace of mind. Not only does she address her clients’ legal concerns, but she also develops a personal relationship with each of her clients. She openly and effectively communicates expectations and requirements during the process while creating a plan that works for their unique situation.

Kisha prides herself on delivering the highest quality of work to provide the best possible outcome for her clients, but she also truly cares about each client she has the opportunity to work with.

Since the first day she arrived at the firm decade ago (congrats on 10 years!), Kisha has been a great asset to our team.

Tekisha received her degree in paralegal studies from Riverside City College in 2020.

Kisha lives in Corona with her husband, Sam and daughter, Kailan. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, especially her two nephews. When she is not with family, you will probably find her at the movies, cooking, dancing, shopping, traveling or helping Sam select fish and amphibians at the pet store for their small fresh water fish aquarium.

Paralegal | Executive Assistant to Dennis m. Sandoval

Bryanna Sandoval

Bryanna joined the firm as our administrative assistant and quickly graduated to become our newest paralegal. She is the primary assistant to Venessa with our estate planning clients. She has started to take on some of the probate cases and assists our other paralegals with the conservatorship and litigation matters.

Bry is finishing up her Bachelor of Arts degree in English and she will soon be joining Tekisha at Riverside City College to obtain her degree in paralegal studies. She is debating she may want to one day follow in her father’s footsteps and attend law school.

She lives in Norco with her dog, Chaucer. She continues to write her own fan fiction stories as well as edit stories for other authors. Her other love is working with various nail polishes and stamping plates to create beautiful and intriguing nail art for herself and other ladies. She sometimes offers her services as a hand model for various nail polish distributors on Instagram. She loves attending various conventions focusing on nail polish, arts and crafts, literary subjects, and action hero conventions such as Comic Con and Anime.
